Ericsson has appointed Majda Lahlou Kassi as Vice President and Head of Customer Unit West & Southern Africa within its Middle East and Africa division.

This appointment highlights Ericsson’s dedication to advancing Africa’s digital transformation and tapping into the continent’s immense potential.

With over 26 years of experience in the telecom sector, Kassi is an expert in sales, technical operations, and customer project management. She has played a key role in delivering transformative projects across Africa and the broader region.

In her new role, Kassi will spearhead initiatives aimed at supporting Africa’s digital transformation and economic diversification, driving sustainable development across the continent.

Previously, she served as Head of Customer Unit West Africa and Morocco, overseeing operations in 23 countries. Since joining Ericsson in 1998, she has held senior positions in technology, sales, strategy, and operations, working in markets across Africa, the Middle East, and Iberia.

Kassi is known for her passion and dedication to growth, customer success, and building high-performing teams. A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, she has served on the D&I board in the Mediterranean region and mentored numerous young leaders, helping them grow professionally.

Kassi holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications and IT from INPT, Rabat, and an MBA from ENPC Paris-EHTP Casablanca.
